After delivering the magnificent hit in the form of ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, stylish star Allu Arjun is now waiting to start the shooting of its sequel, ‘Pushpa: The Rule’. Directed by Sukumar, the film will go on the floors anytime soon.
The actor has garnered the attention of the pan-Indian audiences with his exceptional performance as red sander smuggler Pushpa Raj in the blockbuster film ‘Pushpa: The Rise.’
Well, the actor has made headlines, but for a buzz related to the upcoming film. If reports are anything to go by, Allu Arjun has doubled his salary for the upcoming project. He demanded a hefty remuneration for ‘Pushpa: The Rule’. The makers were shocked to hear the actor’s mind-boggling remuneration demand. Reportedly, he quoted Rs 100 crore for the role. For ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, he reportedly charged Rs 50 crore. Though no information has been revealed regarding the role or the film, the buzz has surely surprised many.
If the reports are to be believed, Allu Arjun will now emerge as the highest-paid actor in Telugu cinema, with the release of ‘Pushpa: The Rule’. Even though none of these reports are officially confirmed yet, the actor, who has established himself as the first pan-Indian star in the contemporary Telugu Cinema, unarguably deserves this massive paycheque.
‘Pushpa: The Rule’ is unarguably one of the most anticipated movies of the year. The movie, which is directed by Sukumar, will be released in five languages including Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi.
