S.S. Rajamouli: ‘I Can’t Handle Balakrishna Out Of His Fear’

SS Rajamouli who recently appeared in a Telugu talk show titled ‘Unstoppable with NBK’ along with his brother MM Keeravani says he was afraid of directing Balakrishna and was scared to deal with him on the film sets.

The latest show had S.S.Rajamouli and MM Keeravani as guests and was hosted by the ‘Akhanda’ actor. On this occasion when Balakrishna asked Rajamouli, why did “our combination didn’t happen? and “what do you have to say about this question from my fans?” Rajamouli said, “I can’t handle Balakrishna’ out of his fear! He is a man who respects everyone irrespective of age at the same time, he’ll also lose his cool when something goes wrong or if he gets annoyed out of something then the situation will turn worse, which I can’t handle. That’s why he says he didn’t work with Balakrishna’.

Balakrishna immediately reacted to it and said, “If he comes out of the caravan after getting ready, he will not go back (or) ask to carry an umbrella”!

Balakrishna then questioned Rajamouli, why does he take 2-3 years to picture one movie? To which, Rajamouli reportedly added “He has a fear of missing some shots, therefore he keeps cross-checking each and every bit, which eventually takes time, added Rajamouli.

Balakrishna also reminded Rajamouli that the latter met him with a script! Rajamouli reportedly said, “Yes twice/thrice I met Balakrishna when he was an assistant and later while he was directing ‘Chatrapathi’ with Prabhas.” Rajamouli met Balakrishna with the ‘Magadheera’ script, but due to some unknown reasons later he made it with Ram Charan.

Balakrishna also trolled Rajamouli that if they work with Rajamouli they’ll get an Industry hit, but then they’ll have to taste disasters for 2-3 years post his film as other filmmakers will not reach the audience expectations, and Rajamouli reportedly intervened and said, that’s not his fault, he just looks into his business and he makes big canvas films as of right from his childhood, he always wanted to make huge films like ‘Benhur’ which inspired him a lot, which he is trying to make now, reportedly concluded Rajamouli.
